Andy Rourke
A voyage through indie from a man who started it all.
Known for his talent on the bass and utter rock n roll-ness, former Smiths member Andy Rourke is a legend in his own right. Having defined the sound of a generation with Smiths records such as The Queen Is Dead, Andy has since played with Sinead O’Connor, The Pretenders, Badly Drawn Boy and more.
His DJ sets hinge on personal influences; from indie to rock – new and old – to all time classics and unreleased material from his collection, we’re talking about a musical journey with one of the pioneers of the UK indie scene at the wheel.
