Chris Martin
National radio presenter and touring DJ for Propaganda, gobbing off and spinning records all over the UK.
He’s currently resident DJ for Propaganda, the UK’s biggest indie club brand, including regularly playing at O2 Academy Islington in London. He’s played all over the UK and also in New Zealand, highlights include playing the headline DJ set to a sell out 1500 people at Koko’s New Year’s Eve in Camden and playing to 4000 people in a tent at the Leeds University Summer Ball.
He currently gets 1,000 people a week sweaty with his brand of riotous rock ‘n’ roll. His sets play to the crowd including everything from arms-in-the-air anthems to leftfield indie, crossing through the worlds of rock, punk, metal, dubstep, drum ‘n’ bass, electro and indie remixes on the way.
Chris has been a full time alternative DJ since 2002, both in clubs and on radio. He was resident for Club NME Leeds whilst exposing brand new underground bands on Yorkshire Radio. Following that he was the Evening Show presenter for 2 years on NME Radio, broadcasting across the UK on DAB and chatting to artists including Slash, two thirds of Led Zeppelin, Dave Grohl, Josh Homme, Rage Against The Machine, Muse, Florence, Kasabian, Vampire Weekend and loads of indie royalty. He’s presented on BBC Radio 1, Indie 103.1 in Los Angeles, and can now be heard bringing the best in the unsigned and underground to Amazing Radio all across the UK.
