Steve Mason
An eclectic, upbeat sonic adventure
Lead singer/songwriter with legendary British group, The Beta Band, Steve then went on to do several musical projects including King Biscuit Time and Black Affair. In 2009 he signed to Domino Records and released the acclaimed album Boys Outside. Steve then had this album ‘dubbed’ by Reggae legend Dennis Bovell. The result, Ghosts Outside was released on Domino in summer 2011. Currently working on the follow up and running his own recording studio Kronk, Steve enjoys DJing such genres as Northern Soul, Mod R+B, Post Punk, Acid House, Techno, Reggae, Ska and Hip Hop. As in his own music, listen out for obscurities and classics coming together in floor-shaking fusion.
